Laravel Development — Custom Applications & Admin Panels.
Custom business applications in Laravel with Filament admin panels — the software your business actually runs on, instead of four spreadsheets and a WhatsApp group.
Most businesses reach a point where generic software stops helping. The CRM does not understand your workflow, the accounting tool cannot express your pricing, and the gap between them is filled by spreadsheets, manual re-entry and someone's memory.
Laravel is the right tool for that gap. It is mature, well-documented, fast to build in, and it produces applications another developer can pick up in a week — which matters far more than it sounds when you are commissioning custom software.
With Filament for the admin layer, a genuinely useful internal system takes weeks rather than months, and it looks and behaves like a real product rather than a database form.
Laravel applications.
Internal business systems
CRMs, order management, inventory, scheduling — modelled on how your business actually operates.
Filament admin panels
Fast, polished admin interfaces with roles, permissions, filters and exports out of the box.
SaaS products
Multi-tenant applications with subscription billing, usage metering and team accounts.
APIs & integrations
REST APIs with versioning, scoped tokens and rate limits, plus integrations with anything you already use.
Documents & reporting
Branded PDF quotes, invoices and vouchers, plus the reports your decisions depend on.
Queues & background work
Scheduled jobs, queued processing and retry handling for anything that should not block a user.
How I approach it.
Model the real workflow, not the ideal one
Custom software fails when it encodes how the business should work rather than how it does. The exceptions matter — the customer who always pays late, the order that skips a step, the manager who overrides pricing. Building for those from the start is the difference between software people use and software people work around.
Filament earns its place
A large share of any internal system is CRUD, roles, filtering and export. Filament handles that well and consistently, which means budget goes into the parts that are actually specific to your business rather than into rebuilding a table view for the fortieth time.
Boring code is a feature
Custom software outlives the developer who wrote it. I write conventional Laravel — standard structure, obvious naming, tests on the logic that matters — so the next person can read it. Clever abstractions feel good to write and cost you money later.
Queue anything that can be slow
PDF generation, email sending, third-party API calls, imports. If it can take three seconds, it belongs in a queue with retries rather than in a request cycle where a slow external service becomes your outage.
The process.
Listen
A 30-minute call to understand the problem behind the brief. The fix is often not what you first ask for.
Quote
A real number tied to a real scope — never a copy-paste price list. Sent within 24 hours.
Build
I work in staging, in your repo, with commits you can audit. I send a daily update so you are never wondering.
Deliver
Smoke test together, document, deploy. Then I stick around to catch the edge cases.
What you get with me.
- Workflow modelling session before any code is written
- Filament admin with roles and permissions
- Conventional, documented Laravel structure
- Tests on the business logic that matters
- Queued background processing with retries
- Staging environment and deployment process
Questions, answered.
Why Laravel rather than something else?
Maturity and hireability. Laravel has excellent documentation, a large ecosystem, and enough developers that you are never dependent on one person. For most business applications that matters more than any language-level advantage.
How long does a custom application take?
A focused internal tool with a clear scope is typically 4–8 weeks. A multi-tenant SaaS product is a longer engagement, and I prefer to ship a usable first version early rather than disappear for six months.
Can it integrate with the systems we already use?
Usually yes — accounting, CRMs, messaging platforms, payment providers, ERPs. Anything with an API, and often things without one.
Do we own the code?
Completely. Full source, in your repository, with no licence restrictions and no dependency on me to continue.
Can you take over an existing Laravel project?
Yes. I start with an audit — structure, dependency versions, test coverage, obvious risks — and give you an honest read on its condition before agreeing to ongoing work.
