How much does a website cost?
It depends entirely on scope, so I quote per project rather than publish a price list. A focused business site, an ecommerce store and a booking platform are very different pieces of work. You get a fixed number within 24 hours of our conversation.
How long does a website take?
A focused business site is typically 2–4 weeks including design approval. Ecommerce and custom applications run longer. Content is usually the critical path rather than development.
Will I be able to edit it myself?
Yes, and it is a design requirement rather than an afterthought. Text, images, pages and structured content are all editable without a developer, and you get a walkthrough of your specific setup at handover.
Do you do the design as well as the development?
Yes. You approve a design before development starts, so there are no surprises when it is built. For larger brand work I bring in a designer I trust and remain accountable for the result.
Will my site rank on Google?
It will be built so it can — fast, properly structured, with schema, sitemaps and a content architecture that makes sense. Actual rankings also depend on competition and ongoing content, and I will be honest about what is realistic in your market.
