The challenge.
Clinical software has two contradictory requirements: it must be fast enough to use during a live appointment, and safe enough that it never substitutes for a clinician's judgement. The platform is built on more than 100,000 real psychiatric encounters by a triple board-certified psychiatrist with 25 years in practice, and has to hold up across 30+ subspecialties in settings from emergency psychiatry to telepsychiatry.
What I did.
- 1
Structured the product around the clinician's actual decision sequence — diagnostic reasoning and differentials, psychopharmacology planning, medication-safety and interaction review, risk-factor and level-of-care considerations, then documentation and coding.
- 2
Set a hard latency budget: chart-ready output in under 90 seconds. Anything slower does not get used mid-appointment, which makes speed a clinical requirement rather than a nicety.
- 3
Positioned it explicitly as decision support that never replaces clinical judgement, with every output reviewable before it reaches a chart.
- 4
Split the journey between individual clinicians (free trial, self-serve pricing) and organisations, with a dedicated Security page because that is the first thing healthcare procurement asks for.
